This Saturday night, country mouse and city mouse gathered together to celebrate the simple & beautiful: food, friends, and the end of the wintertime. It was a wonderful night, full of music and the generosity of neighbors. Cody Utzman of the Brooklyn Standard led the Growing Chefs in the kitchen through a five-plate meal; Greenpoint Food Market vendors donated a full half of the auction items, and Brooklyn Brewery sponsored the libations. The patchwork of the small, local, and delicious made the evening a fantastic last hurrah for the short month of February!
